Rebecca Hachenberg
(Rachel/Fluffy stunt double/Stunt Coordinator/Make-up)

Where are you from?

Brighton.

Do you have much acting and/or production (stage or TV) experience? What was your acting debut, and how old were you?

I made my acting debut playing Cecily in "The Importance of Being Ernest" by Oscar Wilde. I've got lots of stage experience - everything from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" to a play called "Playing For Time" based on Auschwitz.

How did you get involved in Fluffy?

I know Henry's family - my mum used to go out with Henry's Dad. I phoned up Henry to ask about his films, I offered to send him my CV and photos, and he invited me along to the Fluffy audition.
My brother worked with Henry on some of his very early films a long time ago.

Why did you audition for the part of Rachel / Fluffy stunt double?

I went for the part of Fluffy, and ended up with the best of both bits:
- I can be Fluffy and do all the fun bits.
- I can play a vampire, which is great fun.

Is this your first film, or have you been involved in other films?

I've been in other films - an independent short "Torment" by Howard Courtenage (I played Tracy). Also, I recently played Jess in a student short called "The Loop", which follows 2 girls through 3 stages of life.

Are you a Buffy fan?

No. Since working on Fluffy, I've started to get into it.

What have you gained from your involvement in Fluffy?

I've had the opportunity to work with some great people - and to work with Henry, which is great - and to work on a film that is totally mad, where we're not afraid to take an idea and run with it.

Do you have any claims to fame? (E.g. meeting famous people, appearances on TV / stage etc.)

My uncle wrote, "No Sex Please, We're British".
I have various friends on "Eastenders".
My friend is a stunt man who doubled Ewan McGregor on "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace", coordinated fights on "Gladiator", and stunt-doubled on James Bond films.

Any hobbies / obsessions? (Things you enjoy doing)

Flying, an obsession with heights, rock-climbing, kickboxing, wing walking.

Any amusing acting / production cockups (faux pas) - things going wrong on stage etc.?

I was in "Daisy Pulls It Off" - we had a quick change off stage, I came on stage with loads of people, but I had my school dress tucked into my tights - it was hysterical!

Any bizarre talents?

I have an exceptionally long tongue.

Any amusing / mad stories about things you've done, or have happened to you?

A completely mad summer flying around the country and over to China, trying to "scab" as many flights as possible.

Any achievements you'd like to mention?

I've got my advanced certificate in stage combat.

Any annoying habits? Are there any things that you say a lot?

Not planning too well.
I leave shoes everywhere.
Something I say a lot: "Give me a job".
